Free Bible Sites

Since this site is devoted to linking to free audio materials (as well as some text and video), I often get requests for other free items like free hard copies of Bibles and free audio CD versions of the Bible. I wish that I could fill all of the requests that I receive; however, this site is not run by a ministry with lots of donors, rather I am only one individual. I can sometimes (not always) receive three or four requests in a day for a Bible of some kind, especially from my e-mail list. When one factors in the cost of the Bibles and the (often international) shipping cost involved this is simply impossible for me.

With that said, there are, however, groups (usually ministry groups) devoted to providing people in the US as well as internationally with copies of free Bibles. What I will do on this page, is provide a list of links to sites where you may request a free Bible. These sites cannot always fulfill every request. Some of them also work only within one geographical region while others may work worldwide. Some of them may send new copies of Bibles while others might send lightly used copies. I will simply list these sites here, so that you can check them out for yourself.

I put this list together pretty quickly searching “free Bibles” on Google. There were a number of other sites, but these seemed best to me.
